Nearly half a million Albertans have said it loud and clear: we’re proud Canadians.

It’s time for the UCP to admit they were wrong and join us in denouncing separatism once and for all.

NDP MLA David Shepherd held very little back as the UCP effectively fired the Auditor General in committee today…

Including highlighting that for a government under suspicion of covering up massive scandals, this only makes things look worse.

It's quite disturbing how many people are supportive of others losing their human rights if they are on the wrong side of some ideological divide. Some self described libertarians are very fascistic in reality. Like Trashcan Dani.

This shit is bananas and I will not comply. Normalizing human rights being taken away is not gonna happen. This Alberta mom is horrified. Kids are home because I can’t pretend like today is a normal day. What has occurred is another step in the direction we as Albertans should not be ok with.

The UCP government has invoked time allocation and on a bill removing Albertans' Charter rights.

And they're using the notwithstanding clause to do it.

Here's why that is a dangerous precedent. And why real conservatives need to stand up against it. #ableg

At tonight’s “consultation”…

When a high school kid tried to raise concerns about the teachers strike, Bruce McAllister cut the kids mic and then suggested his parents should have beaten him more.

Listen to the clip yourself…

It’s…

Teachers don’t want to strike. They want to teach.

But the UCP has pushed them to the brink by refusing to invest in classrooms, ignoring basic needs, and treating bargaining like a political game.

But the only provincial govt in Canada that will keep its citizens with disabilities from actually benefiting from it is the UCP.

They are the only ones clawing it back.

Announcing you're going to build 90 new schools isn't a flex.

It's an admission of failure.

It's writing-off a generation lost to overcrowded classrooms that you can never get back. You failed those kids and their future.
Graph 2 here is the scenario with no new school construction - which isn't going to happen because the province has announced a plan to construct 90 new schools in the next seven years (across Alberta). #AbEd #yeg #AbLeg
