Once described as "not nearly as serious as they first seem." Accurate. Not the sandwich-throwing one.
Anecdotally, it seems the market has dropped out of Alberta's real estate market in the last year. What happened to all those people looking for affordable housing?

Kudos to @matthewblack.ca for doggedly pursuing this through the OIPC.
An adjudicator's ruling merely confirms what was already obvious. The UCP gov't broke its own laws and went to great lengths to avoid disclosing politically unfavourable public records. Taxpayers paid for these records; they do not belong to a party. #ableg

Province broke its own access to information laws in withholding Alberta Next survey results
The Alberta government wrongly withheld hundreds of pages of results from its Alberta Next surveys an adjudicator has ruled.

Everything else aside, for someone who's whole shtick is to get high and expect people to take him seriously, accusing someone else of "being high" as a reason to dismiss them is pretty funny.
An email released by the Justice Department as part of the Epstein files showed a former guest on Joe Rogan’s podcast offering to connect Jeffrey Epstein with the podcast host in 2017.

I was trying to figure out what was stylistically familiar about the way Bad Bunny walked through everyday cultural settings, then it hit me:

It parallels (intentional or not) the way Childish Gambino walked through "This is America"
Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show was an act of joyful resistance

“This was more than a stand against the ugly actions of ICE and Trump’s racism. It was a cultural celebration of community that decentered colonialism and U.S. imperialism.”

Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime show was more than just an entertaining showcase of Latino pride. It was an act of joyful resistance.

I had never been more than ambivalent towards any halftime show.
I had ever heard of Bad Bunny before this halftime show.

Bad Bunny's show was joyful and fun to watch.

So remind me again how Albertans are getting value for our oil & gas if our jobs, royalties, and corporate taxes all keep going down?
"Job creators"?

"Alberta’s oil and gas industry cut about 10,000 jobs last year, but economists say something surprising about the loss — it may not be a terrible thing.

Even with fewer people, the oilpatch is producing close to seven times more oil and gas .."

Alberta's oilpatch cut 10,000 jobs last year — even as production soared
The province produced about 122 million barrels of oil in 2011. Last year, Alberta produced nearly 1.4 billion barrels of oil by November.

I get this is well-meaning, but I reiterate how terrible of an idea this is.
Security clearances are granted by the executive branch: the minister (who in most cases delegates to beurocrats)

This proposal effectively lets the government choose its opposition. Please see how this can be abused.
Bruce Fanjoy has launched a petition to require all federal party leaders to obtain and maintain top security clearance.

It's open for a couple of months.

First they came for the independent voices of civil society ...

5 QPs A WEEK: THEY DON'T ALL NEED TO LOOK THE SAME

We already have longer Q&A during adjournment proceedings (when an MP feels QP was insufficient they can ask and get a longer answer).

What if we did that once or twice a week during the QP block? (5/6)

She will stay out of it "respecting the democratic process" while letting her MLAs campaign for it.

Thank you!!!
