Today in 1996 I was diagnosed HIV+ at the age of 32. I didn't believe I'd see 40 as people were still dying from AIDS related illnesses at a high rate. I was lucky, I got on a drug trial for triple combination therapy, it saved my life. Here I am, 30 years later, and grateful for every day.
