I wrote about this in February, and the response was tepid at best.

they're on vatican 3 in the post-apocalypse btw
one of my favorite things about prairie song ch24 is that after teasing it for literal years (literally since before we started the serial) we have finally started peeling back the curtain on what the fuck the post post apoc vatican has going on

do you like crime comedy movies where a bunch of hitmen/mob goons/etc are all after the same thing. ok now what if that was happening and also there were post-apocalyptic geopolitics as well
psong chapter 24 ends This Week and also it's basically a standalone novella about a bunch of post apocalyptic mobsters all trying to pull of jobs on the same train. you should read it

Download Libby and Kanopy to go with that library card, they're free.
As you cancel streaming services, here is a casual reminder that only 16% of Americans read for pleasure anymore, and your local library has hundreds or thousands of books you haven't read.

They would love to see you stop by and renew your library card.

serials are good because you can spend almost an entire calendar year away from your main protagonists in order to introduce like 8 new guys, put them on a train to basel, and get really really in the weeds on international organized crime in the post apocalypse

Hey, as a librarian I need to tell you:

Our funding depends on usage.

So go ahead and check out that book even if you don't think you'll finish it. No one will know. Check out that DVD even though you might not like it. Get ambitious in your quest for knowledge.
