Did some spot checking in my manuscript and realized almost every single chapter includes the characters taking their jackets off when they enter a room. Gotta make sure the reader knows they're not wearing jackets anymore apparently. Is this my writer quirk?

If you're wondering why I haven't posted a short story in a while, it's because the story I was working on is now a novella. I guess I wanted to take my time with their developing relationship because one character has PTSD-related intimacy issues. It felt like the romance needed room to breathe.
