I debated getting the vinyl of the new Split Enz box set, "Enzyclopedia Vol 1 & 2", but I'm quite happy I did, if only because I now have a copy of Mental Notes with the locked groove working on my turntable! The auto-return always kicked in on my 70s pressing.

We never used the term "cake batter" when I was a kid, we said "cake mix." When I first heard cake batter, in my early 20s, I assumed someone took a slice of cake, dipped it in batter and deep fried it. As I'm Scottish I don't think this is completely unreasonable.

I used Animate quite a bit in my current job, before moving projects to AE 'cos it could do more. But there's a lot of stuff Animate just made it easier to do...

Adobe Animate remains an industry standard for TV animation. Star Trek: Lower Decks was made in Animate. Haunted Hotel was made in Animate. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic was made in Animate.
And because you can't buy a permanent licence anymore, it'll just be gone.
