Grateful to this old body for doing the best she can, under circumstances that are consistently less than ideal.

The teen has informed us that dinner won’t be ready for 30 more minutes and I’m SO close to sneaking in to get a snack when he’s not looking. How the tables have turned…

Yep, one of the biggest drivers of the elite panic around “wokeness” was the increasing prominence of Black people and particularly Black women in their fields and we’re seeing that coalition rewarded with the targeting of Black workers.
Since February, according to my latest analysis, almost 600,000 Black women have been economically sidelined. The November 20, 2025, Jobs Report makes clear this isn’t a blip. It’s a structural crisis. That is not a recovery. It is a redistribution of opportunity.

I don’t think any of these people actually enjoy governing? Like it’s a surprise to them that with great power comes a modicum of actual responsibility.

It is very, very heartening that almost everyone I know is Doing Something. Community outreach, voter postcards, food pantries, protests, legal action, volunteer work. Love to see it❤️

Am I the only one who imagines every #Poshmark description as ad copy someone wrote for their ex?
*Loved it but ready to rotate for something new.
*Don’t reach for it as often as I should
*Beautiful but doesn’t fit in crotch area
Every single one is a gem😂

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

A Trump supporter started murdering his way through an assassination list of Democratic law makers FIVE MONTHS AGO. He murdered my colleague Melissa Hortman, and her husband Mark — and attempted to assassinate my dear friend John Hoffman and his wife Yvette. I was also on the hit list. WTF

a big runoff last night, in New Orleans:

Calvin Duncan was exonerated after spending *28 years* in prison; he tried to get his own case records from the New Orleans city clerk—but the office dragged its feet.

So Duncan ran to become city clerk himself, and yesterday ousted the incumbent.
