So will Tyler Robinson hang himself in his cell, be shot on the way to trial, or be allowed to tell a court why he did what he did?

In 2012 we briefly gave control of the narrative to someone (Danny Boyle) who shares real British values. Since then control has been taken back by foreign billionaires (Murdoch, Barclay bros, Rothermere etc). Our governments fear their power but enjoy the benefits.

Meet the NEVLAs – (Never Voting Labour Again)
It’s not Reform voters Starmer needs to entice back to the Labour fold, they were never in it. There’s another group he should be worrying about

Not a problem if they short the pound first, since what happens to the rest of us is not important to them

Starmer's speech today means I will never vote labour again. It's not just the echoes of Powell and bowing to the reform agenda. It's the failure to understand where the problem lies. Capitalism is in its death throes and we need a revolution in politics and economics or democracy dies with it.

Tasked with writing this sort of crap in a pitch I once inserted the line "plucking the low hanging fruit from the big swinging dicks" and noone even blinked

AI is clearly the future.
The statement "many a panda stuffs a cabbage" is a playful, figurative way of saying many pandas eat a lot of cabbage.

I think left and right are not part of this equation. People are saying "this isn't working, let's try something different". Explains Brexit, Trump, Corbyn and Reform. It would actually make some sense if the game wasn't rigged to ensure they can't win.

I have a feeling that just as a large but ill informed section of the UK population discovered after Brexit that Britain wasn't as important as they thought, some Americans are about to suffer a similar shock.

Yeah, we have a big problem with Tren de Aragua here in the UK. That's northern rail in Spanish right?

A big critic of Putin and the war in Ukraine, she may now be deported to Russia.

Hold on, so Steve Witkoff was participating in the Signal group discussing war plans against Houthis while being physically in Moscow, perhaps even in the Kremlin? He met Putin late on March 13. Obviously the odds of Russia not compromising any device he would bring there are pretty slim.

I'm guessing the bystander effect is that bit where everyone waits for someone else to step in?

Should have both dummies so that conversation can be had in training. Stopping to think about whether it's ok could cost lives.

I had never thought of this, and I've had to do CPR on a man with lungs full of water. I might have hesitated if it was a woman while I processed "is it ok?". A moment can be all the difference. People should have to practice on both dummies and have that conversation in training. Obvious.
