While I'm not involved in any political party, I think @zackpolanski.bsky.social's analysis is correct. Thanks to Labour's multiple, infuriating failures, the Greens could become huge here, but only if they are bolder, more assertive and, yes, "eco-populist". www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

I'm seeing & hearing of issues with contaminated land all over the country.

Last week in Runcorn & Helsby, met a farmer working on contaminated land.

In London, on old gas works sites have met many people with toxic air where developers cut corners.

Struggling with how to vote? 🤔

Feel like Labour have left you behind? 🥀

Corbynistas on steroids should unironically be the aim of any left formation.

I've seen & heard many things today in Runcorn & Helsby.

Any one of them should make you angry - before you put them all together.

Voting for @greenparty.org.uk is a vote against the huge inequality that is destroying lives & a hugely positive vote for your community for change.

Keir Starmer says welfare spending is "unsustainable".

The reality is welfare spending has been 10-12% of GDP for the last 15 years.

A lot of people who voted for Labour are like "I didn't vote for this" and you did actually. I didn't, because I didn't vote Labour, because I knew they'd do this. I'm neither psychic nor a political genius.

New @thecccuk.bsky.social carbon budget shows urgent demand management of flying is needed. How can this possibly happen if Gov insists on rampant airport expansion?

The report shows public support for a frequent flier levy and limiting expansion.

#Gatwick decision up next, will Labour listen?

Very poor from lots of the media.

Huge report makes it clear we need systemic change - and not focus on individual action.

And then why choose a pic of a fry up instead of say posh roast beef with all the trimmings?

The actual report makes clear how we can improve peoples living standards.
Eat two fewer fry-ups a week to help UK hit climate targets, Britons told

Britons are being urged to make a series of lifestyle changes to help reach climate targets such as reducing meat and dairy consumption, buying an electric car and getting a heat pump
