5 steps to write a results section reviewers trust:

1. Lead with your strongest finding
2. Use visuals for complex comparisons
3. Report effect sizes, not just p-values
4. Acknowledge limitations in real time
5. Never oversell marginal findings

Transparency builds credibility.

During Fiona Hill's testimony to Congress on Oct 14, 2019, she described how Trump and Putin discussed exchanging Ukraine for Venezuela. The quid pro quo was if Trump refuses to help Ukraine fight off a Russian invasion, Putin would not help Venezuela (a Russian ally) resist a US takeover.

2. Consensus – evidence summaries
3. SciSpace – chat with PDFs
4. Litmaps – citation mapping
5. Perplexity – quick context
6. Claude – synthesis drafts
7. Zotero – still the citation king with AI plugins

Astronomers made a truly mind-boggling discovery using the JWST:

A runaway super-massive black hole, rocketing through space at a staggering 1,000 km/s, leaving a 200,000 light-year-long tail in its wake in which gas is accumulating and triggering star formation.

Research trends shift rapidly, and scientists often follow them to stay relevant. Novelty is rewarded, while incremental or unconventional work struggles for attention. Trend-chasing can create bubbles of interest and neglect deeper, unresolved questions.

🧪The average cell uses 10 billion ATP per day
🧪Each ATP needs to be recycled from ADP 1000 times per day.
🧪Because the body cannot store ATP, the mitochondria must make more continually (especially for the brain which use 70% of our ATP).
🧪Our cells have 250 g of ATP, about 4.25 watts
