I grew a pumpkin! We have a lot of different varieties growing, actually. But this one is identifiable as a pumpkin rather than an green ping pong ball. I'm so excited!

The weekend's tomato haul became 7 pints of salsa, & 3 of the extra salsa juice to add to recipes. Tonight was 2 hours of cleaning up the garden bed and even after having 2 other garden member's take their fill, we still brought all these home. #gardening #gardeningasresistance #homesteading

28 years of trouble with this knee (upper right medial pain/burning). This is the first time a injury/pain/weakness cycle has lasted this long (day 16). I've had a couple of cane and/or brace free days. But I'm also not sleeping from pain and it sucks. MRI is Tues morning. #kneepain #mcl

The only thing I've ever sewn (except a pencil case in home ec) was masks during covid. So. Many. Masks. Tonight I got out my sewing machine from the box it's been in for 2 yrs. No patterns. Just vibes. It's far from perfect, but she loves it. #sewing #toddlerkaftan

I got through another two levels of the #BTVS #Gameboy game. Which is farther than I've gotten in months of trying (most of those months were 24 years ago, mind you). But for tonight, the #hellmouth wins. Time to get some sleep so I can live to slay another day.

Spent the last day of my #birthday weekend in bed with Nintendo games and WW2 documentaries. Not a bad way to end a Sunday. Now to find my kindle so I have it ready for work tomorrow, and then time for bed.

I got myself a #mp3player as a #birthdaypresent. A little #treatyoself kind of gift. I spent hours converting youtube vids to mp3, formatting the files so they would sort by artist and title on here, and getting it all loaded. Y'all did we really do this for days at a time on #dialup and #napster?

Well, if Trump really wants to deny it, there’s a simple solution: release all the files. Instead of filing billion-dollar lawsuits and having a thousand federal employees comb through a 100,000-page document looking for his name, he could just call for full transparency.

This is 41. No filters. No make up. I'm at work, tired, and sitting in training while also trying to figure out how to get music onto my mp3 player I got myself for my #birthday. Also, why does my brain keep thinking I'm 42 today? That's next year, boo.

You can get PBS passport for like $5/month if needed. I'm cancelling other streaming services in favor of upping my PBS contribution as able because it's value is so much more than worth it. As a parent of 20 years, their kids programming is superior to both Nick and Disney anyway.

Its time to really think of budgeting out donation money to PBS, Local Libraries, Museums, art programs…
I rather give a monthly $20 to one of these institutions than PRIME.

You can get PBS passport for like $5/month if needed. I'm cancelling other streaming services in favor of upping my PBS contribution as able because it's value is so much more than worth it. As a parent of 20 years, their kids programming is superior to both Nick and Disney anyway.
I subscribe to pbs passport with a monthly donation. Once you hit 40 you should be watching at least one Masterpiece Brit drama.

It's so hot and corn-sweaty outside, so I am giving k-tape a try on my knee instead of a brace. So far, so good. Also able to downgrade from crutches to a cane. Here's hoping it continues to improve and I can get back to walking! #pattellofemoralpainsyndrome

I slipped on the treadmill. Knee had a loud pop. Can't put weight on it without lots of pain. X-ray clear. So it's a brace, crutches, and follow up with ortho if needed in a week. I've been doing so good with walking and being more active. Oops.
