The Dysons and Ratcliffes of this world are why we should have a wealth tax in the UK - and why we should rethink how we tax business.

And if you take your tax status, your business, and your jobs elsewhere, please take your opinions with you too.

We should remember that Trump’s visit was hidden away in Windsor to protect his sensitive orange hide from the glare of protest.

We should also remember the fat scumbag shouldn’t have been invited at all.

The UK is broke and broken because we left the EU, torpedoed our economy, and can’t now afford the public services we need.

Immigration isn’t remotely connected.

However, the likes of Dyson & Ratcliffe are partly responsible. I question their patriotism and logic - their opinions count for zero.

Labour mayor of Greater Manchester joins those criticising Ratcliffe over his comments The GMB union has alos criticised Jim Ratcliffe over his comments about immigration. The union represents workers employed by Ineos, the chemicals company set up and run by Ratcliffe. Andy Prendergast, the GMB’s national secretary, said: Anyone who watches football knows the beautiful game is a shining example multiculturalism; people from across the world playing in harmony. In light of this, Radcliffe’s crass and insensitive comments just underline how out of touch and offensive he truly is. His reign at Man Utd has been marked by mass dismissals of loyal staff and chaos on the pitch. Frankly, his right to comment on UK affairs should have ended the moment he sloped off to Monaco to avoid paying his taxes. These comments go against everything for which Manchester has traditionally stood: a place where people of all races, faiths and none have pulled together over centuries to build our city and our institutions, including Manchester United FC. Calling for curbs on levels of immigration is one thing; portraying those who come here as a hostile invading force is quite another. Continue reading...

If one of 🇬🇧 athletes had a picture of a deceased relative on their gear, we would see that as a sweet moment of remembrance during competition.

🇺🇦 Vlad’s pictures are of people killed in an invasion - so apparently that’s not ok.

Ridiculous IOC. Disappointing to say the least.
February 12, 2026 at 9:37 AM
The IOC has a history of poor decisions - I suspect this will go down as one of their worst.

It’s a shame everyone else will still compete. The IOC would be backed into a corner if everyone refused to race in support of Ukraine.

If the Greens go into the next election with a policy to rejoin the EU, I’m voting for them and I’m certain millions like me would too.

The idea that we have to wait, or it’s somehow “not serious politics” to believe we can rejoin is utter bollocks - political stupidity if the first order.

The BBC are still at it, Starmer bashing...
Lab MP's & especially cabinet ministers need to start calling out this biased onslaught live on air.
If they're worried about antagonising the media, they shouldn't.
The BBC & the rest of the media couldn't be any more anti Starmer/ Labour if they tried.

Who does thar?

I'll tell you - people who are deliberately engineering controversy in the hope that it will get talked about on talk radio stations and GB News
Reform UK approached Bangor University to ask whether Sarah Pochin (Reform MP) could come to debate. They said no, and this is the response they get

Reform would behave exactly as Donald Trump. Don't agree with them, and they will penalise, threaten, defund, and cancel you. They are proto fascists.
