I was saying a year or two ago that the AI slop explosion would cause people to seek out more authentic human experiences, hence the surge in popularity of dumb phones, print, in-person stuff, and wholesale rejection of AI

This is specifically about AI use in humanities disciplines within academia, which is clear from context- this crap is extremely harmful in that setting. Inevitably, people show up to be like "AI finds cancer cells tho".
