A growing coalition is calling on WeGo to freeze fares during the lapse in SNAP benefits. Riders shouldn’t have to choose between going to the food bank and going to a Metro agency to get a bus pass. Let’s make transit a lifeline, not a burden.

FYI. After the meeting I learned I said 30th when my intention was to say 3rd. 6/3 is the date.
Evans announces that on Tuesday, June 30th, there will be a "progress report" on all of these requests from councilmembers at the Public Health & Safety Committee meeting.

"Seeing no objection, because most of the room has left, we'll go ahead and call us adjourned," concludes Evans.

The Tennessee Court of Appeals will hear arguments about whether the state should be allowed to cut Nashville's Metro Council in half, as mandated by a 2023 law that limits the number of seats for any metropolitan council in the state to 20.
