You can find this portal tomb hidden away in Scaragh Wood, close to the town of Cahir in South Tipperary.
Based on excavated examples, it likely dates to the earlier to middle part of the Neolithic period, making it around 5,500 years old.

I noticed that this moss covered tree trunk of a Sycamore tree on Mill Island, Birr was covered in these teeny tiny little parasols. This one was high up, and lit by the sun @claireissimo.bsky.social @charleenhurtubise.bsky.social @tocharstories.bsky.social
