I’m 80% of the way through Angel Down and I can’t begin to guess how it’s going to end. As a lifelong movie nut, I keep thinking “there’s no way they could possibly adapt this for the screen.” I guess we’ll find out if Grazer can make magic happen.

I’m 80% of the way through Angel Down and I can’t begin to guess how it’s going to end. As a lifelong movie nut, I keep thinking “there’s no way they could possibly adapt this for the screen.” I guess we’ll find out if Grazer can make magic happen.

They targeted undereducated, racist thugs for recruitment, why does anyone think training is going to improve the situation? For that matter, why would anyone think that the training wouldn’t make things significantly worse?
Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.

This is a huge crisis that we must do our part on by rejecting generative AI. The more it infiltrates our systems, the more fucked we are over time.
NVidia chief creep says resistance and scorn for AI have done a lot of harm. Good. Nice confirmation it's working. Keep it up. Although the main thing is this stuff is harmful crap so the mind and body tend to revolt against it automatically.
