I'm really worried about this pasta tariff. If there's one thing everyone knows about Italians, it's that we have no idea how to locate or sell goods outside the traditional markets.

Getting into disparaging stuff as recalling specific years from the 2010s. That’s very 2014. This is so 2017. That sort of thing

Just realized if AI starts taking human jobs the AI companies are gonna be glossing their demands for money with the most hoary old socialist-ass "labor is entitled to all it creates" aesthetics you can imagine. Or possibly type into a computer and tell it to imagine for you

This thread explains a bunch of things about this shot I sort of knew had to be more complicated than even the behind-the-scenes material was going to get into. (I didn't even know roto splitscreens like this were doable then or if it was still the age of a locked-off camera with a black matte etc.)
The double splitscreen shot from 1:13-1:42 is one of the most insane shots created during the photochemical era.

You’ve got a real woman fondling Maroon and Valiant at both ends of the shot, with the woman’s body hidden by splitscreens that run along the edges of the fluted columns in the BG…

Can't believe we have kids out there being raised to trust AI. We need to teach them to listen only to reputable sources (some guy's podcast)
