I think the hottest thing that's ever been said into my ear is "Bluetooth connected, battery full" because I know what's coming next. Books. It's books.

I dunno, fellas. Seems to me like it might be time to stop calling traumatized people “dramatic” and recognize that this is an era for heroism, because wisdom doesn’t have to be delivered calmly in order to be wise

James Watson the perverted racist is dead?! Well that means it's time to celebrate the true hero of DNA discovery: Rosalind Franklin

What Rosalind Franklin truly contributed to the discovery of DNA’s structure
Franklin was no victim in how the DNA double helix was solved. An overlooked letter and an unpublished news article, both written in 1953, reveal that she was an equal player.

As a former R, I can attest to the fact that this really happens. Nothing like lying to your kids to make sure they're confused and angry for the rest of their lives.
The stupidity of magats is infinite and the hilarious part is they constantly prove it.

We need to shift the public perception away from the idea that disability is a moral failing.
We need to be visible, take up space and help people realize that all health is temporary and disability happens to almost everyone.
Inclusion and accessibility matter!

I really love this Vincent Van Gogh quote:
"To do good work one must eat well, be well housed, have one's fling from time to time, smoke one's pipe, and drink one's coffee in peace."
No romanticizing the starving artist. Van Gogh said UBI all the way.

You know what would be better than SNAP?
Just give everyone like $500 a week.
Everyone.
Yes, even them.

I'm honestly surprised that Tylenol hasn't sued the fed gov for defamation. Perhaps Paxton's stupid lawsuit will lead to discovery and actual science can have a turn for a minute.

The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.
Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.
The people who need help are not the problem.
It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.

I'm really glad to see all the folks stepping up to try to resource the loss of SNAP but also billionaires could just pay taxes.

SNAP is not the reason your taxes are high.
SNAP recipients don’t need to “just go get a job”.
Most of them work. The rest are disabled, elderly, children or caregivers.
People need & deserve assistance
Your taxes fund wars and tax cuts for the ultra rich
Be mad about that

Please remember that the disgust people have over Christopher Columbus is not based on some modern, 21st century “woke” ideology, but rather on contemporaneous accounts of atrocities that make many modern genocides appear quaint in comparison.

Autistic truth makes people uncomfortable because it’s not performative.
We name what’s broken without decorating it.
It’s not rudeness.
It’s clarity.
And clarity is sacred.
