Eli shared a photo of one of the large bins of garlic she and her coworkers filled earlier this month in Huron CA. This bin holds about 900 lbs of garlic. The high this day was 109°. Workers harvest from their knees. The smell in the field can be overwhelming.

Moderation is key to a successful social media platform. Having racist shit yelled at me isn’t discourse and I am not weak for not wanting it.

I just saw a tiny bird attack a full-grown hawk. Fighting while in flight. It seems to be chasing its nest. Little bird wasn't having it, and hawk looked flustered while flying away. This may be a metaphor for us. We're stronger than we realize.
