After the countrywide massacres of protesters in January, Iran’s authorities have continued to terrorize the population.

Iranian authorities should immediately release all those arbitrarily detained and disclose the fate and whereabouts of those forcibly disappeared.

If Epstein is Trending, Why Isn’t +1.7°C?
The news cycle has become a hall of mirrors: Epstein, Trumpism, war, outrage, retribution. A thousand scandals designed to keep us anxious, tribal, and tired. We have to hold multiple truths at once: ...

Myth #3 : “Climate change is a natural process. It has nothing to do with people.”

Fact: While climate change is a natural process human activity is pushing it into overdrive.

Myth #2: “Climate change has always happened, so there’s nothing to worry about.”

Fact: The Earth is warming at its fastest rate in at least 2,000 years and under current policies is projected to rise this century to 2.8°C hotter than it was in pre-industrial times.

Myth #1 : “A couple of degrees of warming is not that big of a deal.”

Fact: Actually, small temperature rises can throw the world’s delicate ecosystems into disarray, with dire implications for humans and other living things.

New research shows we could power the entire planet for a year if we put solar panels on the land currently used for biofuel. But if we used all that biofuel for aviation - we'd only fuel about 1/3 of flights. Biofuel isn't the fix. Reducing flying & consumption is.

It's rare to see how lobbyists operate. But the Epstein-Mandelson correspondence shows us what happens all the time: plutocrats and government ministers conspiring against the public interest. This is why all lobbying should be in the public domain, but despite Labour and Con promises, it's not. 🧵
