Alberta's crude oil production hit an all-time high in July 2025, reaching 4.32 million barrels per day, but the province still has one of the highest unemployment rates in Canada at 8.4%. Pumping more oil with less workers helps the corporation shareholders but doesn’t help working Albertans.

In the "before times" this would be a major scandal.
Headlines for weeks. It would have a name ("BagGate"?). Jail time as climax?

Now? This is normal sh*t. In fact, let's make him border czar!

Tom Homan was investigated for accepting $50,000 from undercover FBI agents. Trump's DOJ shut it down.
The FBI and Justice officials closed the investigation, which a Justice Department appointee had called a “deep state” probe in early 2025.

If Alberta is in the red, the question Albertans should ask is -
Where did the money go?
Because the UCP have NOT spent money on -
AISH recipients
Education
Or diversifying the economy

They have spent money on their donors' healthcare contracts

I think we can guess where the money went

🤔
Odd, a cut red tape and save money conservative government in the supposedly wealthiest province is running deep in debt.

Albertans elected the Smith UCP regime after the Kenney UCP wasted $1.4B on the KXL pipeline bet and lost another $2.1B when it offloaded the oil by rail contracts. The right in Alberta talks about fiscal responsibility but has always been anything but.

What if believing in conspiracy theories isn’t just about distrust, but about feeling personally wronged? This new study explores the psychology behind that connection.

The COVID pandemic likely began when the virus jumped from animals to humans, and didn’t start in a lab. But false narratives continue to circulate.
