Dems should accept whatever works wherever it works. It’s okay to have a large ideological range. In some places that’s the DSA in some places that’s Blue Dogs.

I don’t think either should have to be responsible for the other’s positions… and they should feel comfortable making that clear.
"Democrats all around the country are going to be asked if they support Mamdani. If they say ‘Yes,’ the follow up will be, 'Do you endorse this or that position of his?' If they say ‘No,’ it will be, 'Aren’t you disrespecting the Democratic voters of New York?'"

Gosh, remember how *shocked* the media was that one time Obama said something salty about Fox News?
Trump: "Fake news New York Times and CNN make up a phony story to get some hits ... it was CNN, it was the New York Times, and they're both disgusting, really horrible groups of people."

This is consistent with the reporting from ABC, based upon Israeli sources, that these strikes had been practiced or simulated during the Biden administration. It was in the playbook as a first strike.

I don't mean to redirect valid pressure on the Dodgers, but are people just gonna give the rest of the teams a pass as if this is just an LA thing or ... ?
In partnership with the City of Los Angeles, the Dodgers have committed $1 million toward direct financial assistance for families of immigrants impacted by recent events in the region. Additional community efforts to be announced in the coming days.

Compton, CA: A masked, heavily-armed man wearing body armor jumped out of a SUV today to kidnap a local resident.

He forgot to put the vehicle in park, causing it to roll down the street damaging other cars. He jumped in the vehicle (which had no platess) and drove off without identifying himself.

An American president told a city of 10 million people to evacuate it immediately as he urgently leaves the G7 to fly to DC and then … nothing.

But people still treat him as if he isn’t insane and a threat to everyone.

Oh, and Biden was old.

Absurd. The Dodgers and their employees were *the targets* because the organization is set to announce support for their ICE-impacted community today.
A hearty “Fuck the Dodgers” chant from protestors present.

I could be proven wrong within days or even hours, but I think this is a decision Trump is constitutionally unable to make.

On one hand, he would demonstrate power, which he confuses with strength.

On the other, he would face potentially disastrous consequences of which he is terrified.

For example, with the protest in LA, pay attention to how often visual images of cars burning are shown vs how often depiction of people marching peacefully are shown. This is #MediaFraming in action. It's a tool for shaping how audiences understand and interpret what's happening.

It is completely unlawful for ICE to turn away members of Congress like this. The law could not be more clear; no member of Congress may be denied access to a facility where ICE is detaining someone, and they cannot be required to schedule in advance. Surprise inspections must be surprise.
If ICE were acting entirely within the law and maintaining good conditions in all its facilities, they would not be turning Congresspeople away.

But they clearly aren't.
