I *really* wish that someone would explain to right wingers that government debt is not the same as household debt. That our grandchildren will NOT be living in poverty because in 2020 we gave out relief to people who lost their paycheques due to Covid. It's exhausting listening to them yell.

I’m so glad we’re getting disability reporting from Mother Jones.
There are so many things that people without any lived experience of disability don’t even think about and having dedicated reporting to it is a breath of fresh air.

I started watching "Who's the Boss?" on CTV Throwback yesterday. Just an episode here and there. But it's so calming. Sometimes hiding in nostalgia is a form of self-care.

Random thought of the day: women seem to - on the whole, individual cases excepted - be more open re bisexuality. Men tend to stubbornly insist they are either gay or straight. I don’t think it’s that there are fewer bi men. But I wonder if it’s just indicative of overall black and white thinking?

It's somewhat miraculous that Brian Wilson managed to live as long as he did, given everything, but it's still a loss to his family, and a great loss to music. His talent was truly a gift for the ages, and I hope he managed to find peace in his later years.

I am so disheartened. I am still me, the same person I have always been, and I am DAMNED good at what I do. But as soon as I ask for accommodation... *POOF* ghosted.
