Thinking about Martin Parr. He took a photo of my mum’s mate Janice once as part of his Point of Sale, Salford series. She worked in Marks on the Precinct. Here she is with Dennis Taylor glasses on. She used to put things through for me without ringing them up and shout, ‘tell your mum to phone me!’
