I just wanna take a second among all the chaos to tell the void that... I did it. I read 3 novels in the span of 22 days. Never before have I accomplished such a feat. And you know what? It may sound dumb, but I am really proud of myself.
Star Wars Outlaws: Low Red Moon releases in 26 days. Which means I have to some how read 1,076 pages worth of Mass Effect Andromeda lore in that time frame. No pressure or anything 🫣.
(Though if I manage to pull this off then little kid me who hated to read will be very impressed!)

ICYDK, publishing is in a decline. Many authors who have had dependable contracts in the past are now scrambling to make ends meet and seeing lower advances and fewer sales than ever. If you see lots of book publicity posts, it's because we're scared and trying to keep our jobs during The Horrors.

Don't get me wrong, I am horrified by what I see happening on the streets of my country day after day. But it is these folks - specifically the children, for Christ sake - that my heart breaks for the most. Living in fear is bad, but living in hopeless despair is soul crushing. Keeps me up at night.
I just visited Liam and his father. I also met with countless more children and families who have done nothing wrong and should not be detained.

Don't get me wrong, I am horrified by what I see happening on the streets of my country day after day.
