this is how I, a resident of LA, found out that the Palisades fire was arson, that they caught the guy, and that he used gen AI to work his way up to doing the crime
the city of los angeles burned in january in part because of a man who couldn’t stop generating images of burning cities on ChatGPT, and then after he lit the fire he asked if the fire he started was his fault

It forgets where you are you each time you look at the floor and soft-locks when it's to dark. A technological marvel.

Moreover, if you can send Kristi Noem to this prison to shoot S&M- themed propaganda, you can get someone out of it. They don’t want to. Because they love this. They love being the people who arrest innocent immigrants in front of their children and then send them to a prison to be tortured.

OMG. I needed to do a banking thing that required me to temporarily remove my ChexSystems credit freeze. So many fails (emails with "Dear Steve [password]," being the most egregious) that demonstrate they should not have access to anyone's financial data at all.
