George was just trying to get to work.

ICE pepper-sprayed him, dragged him from his car, locked him in a detention center, and placed him on suicide watch. He even missed his young daughter’s birthday in the process.

This man is a veteran and American citizen. Don't look away.
"They put me on suicide watch and they put me in the cell, I'm naked, in like a hospital dress and just a concrete bed with like a mattress, like a thin mattress and, they leave the light on 24/7."

Deep dive into the surge in US pedestrian deaths:

"It’s not that more pedestrians are getting hit by vehicles; it’s that the ones that are getting hit are more likely to die."

"[That] seems like fairly strong evidence for the theory that the rise in large SUVs is behind the uptick in ped deaths."
Why Are So Many Pedestrians Killed by Cars in the US?
It’s unfortunately not uncommon for pedestrians to be killed by cars in the US.

Why?

What does this have to do with us?

What sort of foreign policy is this?

If something bad happens to a criminal Trump pal abroad, U.S. taxpayers have to pay for a war or a new tariff or some silly new overarching foreign policy agenda?

What is that?
Rubio vows US response following conviction of Brazil's Bolsonaro
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Thursday said the United States would "respond accordingly to this witch hunt" after former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was convicted of plotting a coup to remain in power after losing the 2022 election.

Thinking of all the families enrolled in Douglass Park day camp. How are they supposed to feel safe when a park district employee shot 2 unarmed kids in a crowded park??
If Supt. Snelling wanted to, yesterday he could have told the public:

1. The death of a child is a tragedy and CPD takes this shooting investigation very seriously

2. Even with a concealed-carry permit, possessing a gun in the park is a felony, so CPD is also investigating any gun violations

My state has had a legislative GOP supermajority for 22 years. Missouri is ranked:

50th in classroom funding
49th in starting teacher pay
7th highest in gun deaths
6th highest in maternal mortality

Republicans can’t govern and you can look at every red state to come to that conclusion.
