im USA-tall btw so is almost everyone else in my family. my mother, who is exactly average US female height, *thinks* she's "very short". it's absolutely bizARRE how this has pervaded the culture to the point that people cant just look around and average up the physical humans that they encounter

you buy salt a couple times a year, pepper also, whatever spices you use a lot. spices are really easy to shoplift and last a very long time btw. fresh garlic and onions are extremely cheap. garlic can be frozen and so can fresh ginger. green onions can be planted and trimmed forever
