Trade war with Colombia makes more sense if you remember that tariffs on coffee will cost US consumers in the short term, but, in the long term, they will serve to revitalize domestic coffee production in the American heartland.

Now that breakfast foods are unaffordable, 10AM Gin and Tonics seem like a much smarter way to get your morning calories in.
Your coffee prices just doubled, and you’re not saving anything on eggs.

Across most domains, Biden was able to slow price increases, but not to lower costs. By making prices skyrocket now, Trump will be able to truly lower prices. And, it’s so close to when he took office, that four years from now people may not attribute the increase to him at all. Another genius move!
And just like that, the price of eggs skyrocketed and vital prescription medications are unaffordable again. He lied.

Remember that the media is supposed to give equitable treatment to Trump nominees, not equal treatment - they are not the same.
During Pete Hegseth’s confirmation hearing to serve as secretary of defense, Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand called out Hegseth’s comments on women serving in the military.
Hegseth Torched Over Made-Up Views on Women in Military
Donald Trump’s pick for defense secretary, Pete Hegseth, was dragged by Democrats for his misogynist lies about women in the military.

The Defense Secretary is a 24-7 job. Hegseth's willingness to drink at any hour is not a liability, but a clear way of showing that his readiness is unwavering depending on the time of day.

But, what about Hillary's emails?
ABC News, citing interviews with three of her former staffers, reported that Gabbard regularly read and shared articles from RT (formerly Russia Today), a state-run media outlet, even after being advised that RT wasn’t a credible source.
Tulsi Gabbard’s Own Ex-Staffers Expose Her as a Russian Stooge
Donald Trump’s pick to serve as director of national intelligence regularly consumed Russian propaganda.

Voting for Democrats does disqualify you, because we are already in the battle between Christ/Trump and the anti-Christ, and anything that supports Democrats supports the anti-Christ. Supporting the anti-Christ is always bringing disaster on yourself.
the all but official position of the republican party is that voting for democrats disqualifies you from federal disaster assistance
Rep. Warren Davidson on California federal disaster relief: "If they want the money, then there should be consequences where they have to change their policies ... CA wants the money without changing the policies that are making the problem worse & I don't see how Rs could possibly support that."

Judge Merchan knows that he needs to be discharged to make enough room in American jails for the coming immigrant raids.
And yet, everyone is acting like a sentence if unconditional discharge is normal or that prosecutors asking for that doesn't also cause "damage to the public perception of the criminal justice system."
Joshua Steinglass, Manhattan DA team: "This defendant has caused enduring damage to the public perception of the criminal justice system."

The real purpose of the wildfires is to show that trickle down economics works. Who's Laffer-ing now?
How destroying 10,000 homes at the top of the market causes rents to balloon all the way down the income ladder should feel intuitive and yet people resist the idea that building new homes at the top of the market can lower rents for middle class people even tho its the same process in reverse

Look, this all could have been prevented if we had brought a big enough iceberg from US-owned Greenland through the US-controlled Panama Canal and had it parked off Southern California just in case...
Fire conditions are “about as bad as it gets in terms of fire weather." Warnings place "all residents in Los Angeles County in danger."

As of writing, 80,000 people are under mandatory evacuation orders, and over 300,000 residents remain without power.

Nothing is going to get our NATO allies committed to ponying up their fair share like having France and Germany invoke article 5 after the US invades Denmark.

The US has 649 miles of barriers along the border with Mexico, 33% of its full length. But if the US took over Mexico and moved the border fence to Mexico's south, it would be 93%, and the 48 miles left is only a bit more than the 40 miles of fencing Trump build during his first term. Genius!
Mexico's President already told Trump that they reject any notion of US attacks in Mexico or unauthorized U.S. troops. Reaffirmed Mexico has a military.

Meanwhile, the U.S. would need 500,000 troops to occupy Mexico if it decides to invade, that would spill across US cities.
