My novel, The Awakening, is now available:

The Awakening is contemporary #litfic with a speculative element. It asks the question, "Is it possible to find redemption in unbelief?"

The report is just going to be a sheet of paper with a red down arrow on it.
Peter Navarro: "The jobs report comes out tomorrow. We have to revise our expectations down significantly for what a monthly job number should look like ... Wall Street has to adjust for the fact that we're deporting millions of illegals out of the job market."

It's quite the culture that we've created: We've made pedophiles our ultimate boogeymen, but then we completely ignore the victims and protect the perpetrators with redactions and legal bargains.

Good morning. The President of the United States was in the middle of the most serious child sex trafficking ring of the last quarter century.

He is referenced not a dozen times in the case files. Not 100 times. Not 1,000 times. He’s referenced 38,000 times.

"Libertarians can be annoying." I stopped reading after that sentence, as there was no way she was going to say anything else as true as that.
I feel like I'm losing my goddamnned mind.

This op-ed was written by Kathrine Mangu-Ward. Katherine is editor-in-chief of Reason magazine.

Reason fired @shikhadalmia.bsky.social for being too anti-Trump.

Seattle is tied for my favorite city in the US, so even though I don't follow football, I'm happy they won. That's my most controversial Super Bowl take.

What does the word β€œFarsi” mean?
Uncle Jay Hubbard's answer: > β€œFarsi [1]is the name of the Persian language as spoken in Iran. It’s the endonymβ€”what native speakers call their own languageβ€”and it comes from a historical sound shift...

After humanity is stripped of faith and thrown into chaos, a man takes to the road to find his vanished brother.

The Awakening, my latest novel, is #litfic with a speculative angle and a heavy mix of humor. Available everywhere in both print and e-book editions.

Seeing all the "How can they do this legally??" replies is making me want to laugh and cry at the same time.

Trump being a racist isn't news. Trump's supporters making excuses for him isn't news. We've seen this all before.

The focus should be on what his Obama video says about who he thinks his audience is. Make it clear *he thinks* his followers are fine with overt racism.

To see the paper gutted and watered down even while Jeff Bezos' wealth grows exponentially is something that should anger any person who cares about journalism. I don't imagine the paper will actually go away, but its value as a tool for informing the public has taken a huge, potentially fatal hit.

I was also a subscriber to WAPO for many years, in large part because it had a well-earned reputation of being one of the finest journalistic outlets in the world.

Alas, the current owner is now doing to the Washington Post what he did to the book industry.

Many (many) years ago, I had an article published on the front page of the Business section of the @washingtonpost.com. It was the highlight of my young "career" (if you could call it that) and the experience of working with the Washington Post editorial team was a joy.
