You actually can, in settings.

That said, I requested that album a while ago and so far no luck.

If you're enjoying Pluribus - and I sure am - you might just get a kick out of my debut novel, which includes messages from a distant alien species and an inexplicable change to humanity.

Yahweh's Children is #litfic with a dollop of sci-fi and a tinge of satire.

It's real. My author copies have just arrived, and they look fantastic inside and out.

My new speculative #litfic novel, The Awakening, is available in January. Pre-orders are open now.

A corollary to that post about how using "AI art" makes your business look cheap, using AI for your promotional materials makes me assume the actual show or movie is shit. This Robin Hood show may be a masterpiece, but I wouldn't watch it based on this alone.

When humanity is stripped of faith and thrown into chaos, a man takes to the road to find his vanished brother.

The Awakening, my latest novel, is #litfic with a speculative angle and a heavy mix of humor.

Pre-orders for The Awakening are now available.

Why does Hollywood think cowboys ride horses?

Today is the 40th anniversary of the comic strip Calvin & Hobbes by Bill Watterson. On November 18, 1985, the world met a six-year-old boy named Calvin and his stuffed (but also real) tiger named Hobbes.

The comic only ran for 10 years, but its lasting impact cannot be overstated.

I'm new to this process, but I'm looking for readers for my new novel, The Awakening. It is #litfic with a speculative element. My ideal advanced reader is anyone who enjoys books about big ideas with a sharp satirical edge. Any takers?

The people still covering for Donald Trump to distract from the Epstein emails need you to believe quite a few incongruous ideas at once:

The Donald Trump fundraising emails have just gone full AI now. They know their demographic won't be able to tell.

These scams are getting a bit more sophisticated. This one actually learned the name of my novel, Yahweh's Children.
November 8, 2025 at 11:42 AM
The original scammer has upped the ante by asking for a PDF of my book. Christ, they really want to ruin me.
November 7, 2025 at 8:41 PM
What a twist! I've been nominated for ANOTHER book club!
November 7, 2025 at 8:33 PM
I told them it was strange they changed email addresses, but that's okay, I still sent the money. With screenshot (that may or may not ever load).

They helpfully explained they use different emails, but the image isn't loading. Can I send the money again?

(I wonder how many rounds this will go.)
November 7, 2025 at 8:30 PM
They've had to change email accounts but they're still really excited to give me my award!
November 7, 2025 at 8:07 PM
Now they've sent me a separate bill for the full $247. I guess I didn't respond quickly enough for the Early Bird Special. Oh well, it'll be worth it to get all the prestige of that award!
November 7, 2025 at 7:38 PM
I've been sent a money request for $150. What a discount!
November 7, 2025 at 6:31 PM
Oh, and buried at the bottom of the email was the fee: $247!

That was too sweet an offer to pass up on, so I had to respond right away.
November 7, 2025 at 6:01 PM
They responded a couple hours later, and this time they told me which of my books is being honored: "Checked Out At The Imperial". Very exciting!

One minor problem: I didn't write that book. Someone named Chris Fallow did. I'm sure Chris is a nice guy and all, be I ain't he.
November 7, 2025 at 6:01 PM
Notice, the scammer still hasn't told me the name of the book for which I have received this prestigious offer. A small detail.

So, of course, I kept it going:
November 7, 2025 at 6:01 PM
One problem: the email didn't mention my book's title. Suspicious, I tracked down the actual club and messaged them directly. As I suspected, it's fake. The scammer contacts #authors and asks for money to feature their books.

Naturally, I emailed the scammer back to say I was honored. The reply:
November 7, 2025 at 6:01 PM
Heads up #WritingCommunity: There's a scammer claiming to be from The Paris Anglophone Book Club (a real thing, though I'd never heard of it).

The email said they're considering my book for their #bookclub. And I was even up for an award!

Very exciting for an #indieauthor!

It's so funny when people do exactly what this describes because, even when they're called out for it, the buzz of social media activism is too strong to give up.

It's almost as if your goal is "oversimplification".
