Mayor Parker’s budget will not include money to continue the Zero Fare program.

Former Mayor Jim Kenney, who partnered with SEPTA to launch the initiative in March 2023, is advocating to preserve it.

Got to take an unplanned round trip on the bus today and I have to say that #ZeroFare public transit is THE WAY to go.

But I wish we had more frequent buses here. If that bus came every 10-15 minutes rather than 40 minutes between buses I would plan to use it everyday all the time
