Surprisingly, Pages' .224 OPS is 39th-worst among players with at least 20 PA's in a single postseason. BTW, Dan Wilson had a .175 OPS when he played in all 11 postseason games for the Mariners in 1995. (24-y-o Chris Widger was his backup)

I find a widger really good for sticking wee bulbs into grass--just stab it in, prise yourself a space, pop in the bulb, then flatten the turf back in place. It means the lawn can't be mown for yonks in spring, not if you wanna let them all drop their seed and die back, but it's worth it!

CJ Widger, who signed as a minor league free agent just a few weeks ago, is gone from the Padres' organization. The Giants selected him in the minor league phase of the Rule 5 draft. It's his fourth organization in 10 months.
