I'm not sure you'd call it a concert per se, but my most memorable live music experience was when I went to the MTV VMA's at Universal Studios. It was split between NY and LA that year, maybe 1986. So many great acts, especially INXS.

If we were to reference anything here in a “ok, let’s distill one moment to show what she’s done” kind of mindset, let’s look at what she did at the VMA’s this year
There are so many great signs. I think my favorite might be "Tip the Dolls" because it feels so authentic to shows I go to. It wasn't just "trans rights", but also a deeper display and understanding of queer art.

The Game Awards need to be more like old VMA’s. Geoff Keighly needs to start calling the trailers bullshit and nu metal devs should talk open shit on boy band devs. Huge fashion risks. Swen Vincke throws a guitar in the air. Kojima no-shows. Tim Robbins is there for unclear reasons.
