Grade mal bisschen gegoogelt wegen den Pilz Dingern. Vareniki bedeutet „gekocht“. Du kannst die auch dämpfen. Deshalb wird das als Zubereitung gar nicht vorgeschlagen und Pierogi werden nach dem kochen oft noch gebraten. Aber ist ja im Prinzip egal. So wie es am besten schmeckt.

I have eaten sooooo many potstickers.
Even better, I came home with half a pack of spare wrappers and I can experiment with half-homemade cherry vareniki/pierogis!

my cottage cheese was expiring so I made vareniki aka cheese dumplings which are basically eastern european gnocchi. mix cottage cheese and flour with seasoning roll out and cut into pieces (these are just salt pepper and parsley) and either fry in butter or boil then toss in butter.
