There being no #TheSkyAtNight until next SPRING is a joke.

Great sky out there tonight, folks. My shitty photo doesn't do it justice. If you're too busy right now to go look it'll still be there in an hour.

Oh my. Looked up at the night sky and rose to the challenge. My camera picked out more stars than what I could see with my naked eye! Off back outside. Great fun!

Good mention of the full moon on #TheArchers yesterday. Unfortunately they hadn’t quite done their homework and discovered it would be a ‘blood moon’ lunar eclipse. Should’ve checked with #TheSkyatNight!

Just watched THE SKY AT NIGHT - about the wonderful Jocelyn Bell Burnell.
The story of her life, told by herself, is fascinating - including her discovery of pulsars and the appalling sexism she faced.

On BBC iPlayer. Well worth catching!

De Heart Nebula. Linksboven zie je nog een stukje van de Soul Nebula en het uitsteeksel aan de rechterkant wordt ook wel de Fish Nebula genoemd.
Totale integratietijd: 78 x 5 minuten = 6h 30m.

I personally think the BBC treats it poorly, on a few months then disappears, should be on every Sunday, especially given the amount of channels that the BBC has. Happy 25th Chris 🎂 I was made up when I saw you took over from the late great Patrick, said you should have! #TheSkyAtNight

I am in love with my Sony Alpha! Just arrived home from an evening of entertainment and heard the moon screaming my name. Of course, I obeyed! A hand held capture. Thanks for comments & catch up soon x.

Goodnight kind people of the bluer skies. A black sky photo for a change. We live near to the Dark Sky Park and are lucky to have an amazing view at all hours. There are 3 planets there, you may be able to spot one or two if you start with Mars (red, central)
