The AI bubble is reaching its peak, with the largest data center funder (Blue Owl) walking away from a $10bn deal with Oracle, just as Broadcom gets pummeled post-earnings for showing no revenue from OpenAI, and CoreWeave fails to build capacity in time.

NVIDIA's revenues from customers spending less than $6bn a quarter is collapsing just as it becomes difficult for large customers buying billions of GPUs to raise debt. NVIDIA is almost entirely reliable on a few big customers, and I'm not sure how long they last.

Publishing industry and then, as a flow-on, bookstores.

The social pressure on bluesky to support local bookstores is extremely high, but the reality is a lot of queer books make print in small runs if they're not digital exclusive and very few bookstores stock them.
Massive (but typical) failure of the publishing industry to recognize the demand for queer books and for PHYSICAL PRINT COPIES of books. #BookHistoryLive
NEW: It’s not just readers that suffer due to Harlequin’s mismanagement of the' Heated Rivalry' books. Reid misses out on royalties, & booksellers miss out on commissions—which is especially painful during the holiday season when many small businesses make the bulk of their money.

#Netflix has the cash flow credit, and stock value to pull this off and it becomes the absolute king of entertainment! What a coup.

There's something like 250k long-term empty houses in the UK, that ought to be a good place to start.

Agreed about 'affordable' houses to buy, focus ought to be more on publicly owned housing stock.

Govt can also speed-up processing of applicants & rejoin the EU. Reducing the flow helps too.

18. I've used this share of the stock from the UN as the assumption about the flow of British citizens' emigration patterns of non-OECD countries. With that RoW emigration starts low at around 10% and rises gradually through to 2024. This is very finger in the wind, but defensible.

BMWs, Audis, Mercedes: a massive fleet of brand-new top of the line luxury automobiles flow from Germany to Moscow, where they stock the garages of oligarchs in Putin's inner circle. A flagrant violation of EU sanctions. How does it happen?

Thinking more financial terms, where stock refers to equity - a persistent defined asset with variable value - while flow refers to the movement of (typically cash) value across boundaries.
Which is still dehumanizing because we use similar terms to describe livestock for mostly financial reasons

Its alot of eb and flow. Some days good others meh lol I try not to put too much stock into the numbers of social

Also how could anyone hate you?🥺

to be clear, what he's saying is that germany needs mass deportations, which as we can see from the US in practice means an ethnic cleansing campaign. "flow" refers to rates of immigration and "stock" refers to the currently existing immigrant population
The thing about immigration is that xenophobia and racism are the elite centrist position. Here's a senior fellow at Brookings, spouse of CRFP head Maya MacGuineas, explaining the mere presence of foreigners in Germany is a "problem" that someone must solve with "speed and determination."

Sometimes you just don't. The drive and confidence just disappears and that's okay. You might not feel it for awhile, but perhaps it'll come back later? The flow of ideas means the skill and desire is still there. You might feel better writing down your ideas to take stock and come back later.

Next up is cash flow. Higher A/R and higher inventories are both uses of cash; you back both out of net income (accrual accounting) to get to operating cash flow (cash accounting). So this is just a rehash of the points already made. An honest analysis would be transparent about that. This isn’t.

In the next paragraph we get a blurb on Michael Burry, but instead of being germane to cash flow it’s referencing A/R again…looks like somebody got sloppy with their editing. This is no new analysis just appeal to authority in order to wow the reader.

These LLC are also heavy into buying Stock in McDs' Corporation because that is where the Profits flow to. Individual Franchises may be squeezed by the Model because McDs' controls the Price on the Lease (Real Estate Function) and the Price of the Food (Wholesaler Function).

Really a stock is a point q in configuration space Q and a flow is a tangent vector in TqQ and to compare flows at different stocks you need the concept of a connection ...

The problem lots of people have when thinking about tax (and I suffer from this often) is that we think about (existing) stock rather than (dynamic) flow. That is, we tend to think more about how changes impact people today rather than how they shift incentives in future.

If you haven't done so yet, and have any ability to do so, stock up on supplies, and prepare for a general strike.

Rabbit and chicken and 2 very fast grow meats, and a backyard garden can produce enough greens for a small family.

Shut the country down. Kill the flow of money.
November 3, 2025 at 5:40 AM
Explain how that “flow through” occurs. Is our that we get to watch a CEO pay increase—“Look Susie, a very rich man is getting more money” oh yay? Or read that a corp has used its increased profits to buy back its stock?

it genuinely is a stock vs flow thing that people find it hard to wrap their head around

Sudan is also OUR genocide. We could end the genocide in Sudan if we stopped the flow of weapons and money to the UAE. But just like with Saudi Arabia and Israel, we care about dollars more than lives. The Lockheed and RTX stock prices must only go up.

$BTC: Mispriced for 15 years, yet growing 100% annually 📈. Guess some folks are playing 'How wrong can we be?' with $100T markets 🤷‍♂️. Meanwhile, the Stock-to-Flow model is out here saying 'Hold my halving' 🚀💎. , ❤️ u plan B!

Oh cool. The airline stimulus package doubled from 25 to 50 billion. Interesting to see the amounts that come to small businesses that didn’t enjoy pumping cash flow into stock buybacks for years..
