I had a #SmearTest (for the Americans, a pap smear/test) today. The nurse was kind, reassuring and efficient. It was very quick and very nearly painless. If you have a cervix, do make and go to your screening appointments 💜

Just had the fastest #smeartest ever. I was in there less than 5 mins & that included identity checking and the debrief! Granted I have had them previously which may have contributed to speed but I remember how lovely the nurse was in my 1st smear: explained everything. Definitely worth doing!

Morning. Up & out early to go shopping in Rotterdam. We gave up on Primark cuz only one cashier was open & the queue was out the door. Bookshop was great until eldest couldn't find a book he's been looking for & a meltdown ensued. We are now home. I'm exhausted but smeartest at drs shortly - ugh. .

I'm gonna guess I'm missing something other than 'it's better with the metal torture device, but you can just do at home without and it may be less good of a sample'.
