we’re just gonna redo Vox and Semaphor until news collapses huh
The Argument is quickly distinguishing itself as a "braindead but think theyre clever" publication in an industry full of them
"In either case, the claims of impending one-party rule are a bit overblown. In reality, the net effect would really be that Republicans win the House three or four times as often as the Democrats."

That doesn't seem overblown at all. Whatever that is, it's not a representative democracy.

Yeah and we all need to pay attention to that Semaphor chat, bc i tell you these people are probably NOT talking about a dinner party. It's their little Signal/whatsapp chat groups where they imagine they're hosting a salon of big ideas (no diversity need apply).

Would expect nothing less from Semaphor

That Semaphor “what were we wrong about” article cane out too early

'Von oben' #FotoVorschlag Blick "von oben' auf ein Semaphor (Windstärken- und Windrichtungsanzeiger) auf einer Mole am Deich in #Bremerhaven. War für die Segelschiffe gedacht - 'B' für Borkum und 'H' für Helgoland.

Yes. This is actually an entirely fair summary of the Semaphor article.

Bluesky stop falling for the anonymous Axios/Politico/Semaphor bullshit challenge.

i am the very model of the powerless ship mazarine
i've drifted through the water in a way unlike a submarine
i'm floating off of england passing places most historical
i fly the flag "i need a tug" with colors semaphorical

Makes sense. I'm interested to find out how other teams have solved this, especially in trunk-based development environments. Feels like the solution must involve some kind of global 'semaphor' that everything synchronises on to coordinate versioning, but not yet found a solid answer.

Yes, the "National Energy Dominance Council" is dumb and just...silly.

But this? This is utterly cretinous. (Via Semaphor) Reality-free propaganda from top to bottom. Utter nonsense.

And as to @danielsgoldman.dg4ny.co's question about whether Xitter has stalled another investigation before? @kyledcheney.bsky.social wrote up another of those in April, which subsequently seems to have been tied to Kyle Semaphor.

Elon Musk's Xitter is trying to stall DOJ investigations again.

when I was a kid in the 60's they played them before the feature film at the Port Adelaide cinema I'd go to when we holidayed and stayed with our grandmother in Semaphor, they even had a bloke playing the organ between films.

outfits like third way, semaphor, the bulwark, the argument, etc, only serve one purpose: to keep the overton window from moving to the left

Interesting piece in Semaphor by @daveweigel.bsky.social on Squatting furor on the right.

Semaphor is curious though, as Weigel's piece was purely about political spin. 1/

I saw that one! That it was all in a reply thread to a Semaphor journalist made it so so so much worse.
July 8, 2024 at 3:53 PM
Exactly. Regular viewers of MSNBC will know that all three reporters are all over their coverage. This is Semaphor trying to stir the shit. We all need to be super cautious about what we read and take as fact right now. There’s a ton of garbage “facts” circulating right now.

Semaphor would be the kind of oligarch ball licking site that Kendall Roy would produce if he was a real person.

I mean, seriously. "Control"'s story is very good, but the setting is a whole other level. I'm not even sure to what I can compare this - part "The X-Files", part "Fringe", part sheer chaos?

(that semaphor on my first playthrough was unforgettable!)

yeah! it's an interesting thing to me. the symbol is a combination of lines representing the semaphor flags for N and D.

Weigel's Semaphor piece is a bit less delicate but makes the exact same implication
