And we continue to build in person spaces (like #satcamp) to make it real

So far, my own feelings of community are most strongly fostered in real life meetings/conferences. I'm especially intrigued at the effectiveness of community building in events like SatCamp, where overlapping career and hobby interests resulted in a much deeper sense of connection.

#satcamp was an adventure, but my bag went wilder. Ended up in #denverairport lost & found and traded items with another bag. 🫢

I just signed up for SatCamp in Boulder (happening soon)! I went last year & it’s a great opportunity to meet & spend time with people who care deeply about making satellite data accessible and usable.
