The ship is extremely detailed, covered in deep rust, grime, and environmental damage, fitting a "used future" sci-fi theme. It has a bulky, asymmetrical, and patchwork design, featuring multiple large engine nacelles, a central rounded cockpit with "Reach or bust" painted on the window, and various external pipes, antennae, and structural supports. This shirt I have been aware I will almost certainly need to get myself, despite having no lack of t-shirts, again given our kid's being a student at a Spanish/English dual-language immersion school in a coastal enclave where class issues are real and her maternal grandma is from Alaska, where are there are legitimately many many orcas, though word has it these can also be seen in the waters off our own coast. Ultimately the decision will likely hinge in the shirt's just being super stylish / righteous / fun besides. Featured on the white shirt, in a red-colored Mexican-American /Chicano font, are the words MI VIDA LOCA, with an orca breaching between them, and a yacht in crisis behind it. Below this design is a clearly phrased CHINGA TU YACHT, in no-frills smaller typeface black-colored letters.

Very little can make me despair more for the future of information retrieval than seeing a "what is this?" post followed by a parade of dunces plugging the accompanying photos into ChatGPT and copy/pasting the output without confirming the info is correct or even that it refers to something real.
A post in a Facebook group called Vintage Camping - Discussion & Classifieds consists of a photo of a huge two-level 1970s motorhome with eight axles, with the caption "Need some help. I saw this on the way to the campground. Can anyone tell me what it might be?" A comment on the post reads: vintage Serro Scotty Hilander camper, likely from the late 1960s or early 1970s. These campers are known for their distinctive two-story design and were manufactured until 1997 Another comment on the post reads: The unique multi-level vehicle in the image appears to be the KABE Royal Tower, a double-decker caravan built by the Swedish company KABE. The KABE Royal Tower was a special, one-off model created in 2007 to celebrate the company's 50th anniversary. It gained significant attention online due to its unusual two-story design. KABE also produced a later version called the Imperial Tower in 2017. These "Tower" models are known for their impressive height and spacious interiors, offering a different take on recreational vehicles compared to traditional caravans or motorhomes. The "Royal" nameplate visible on the front of the vehicle in the photograph aligns with the name of this distinctive KABE model. An additional comment on the post reads: 1973 Imperial Motorhome, nicknamed "Land Yacht" or "Red Dragon". It's a large, vintage RV known for its unique and boxy design.

It's easy to kick my dog, my child, my lover, the woman across the desk. People burning their lives away for pennies pile up in neighborhoods like rusting car bodies. Why not stroll down to the corner yacht club and invite the chairman of the board of I.T. & T. to settle it with his fists? How hard to war against those too powerful to show us faces of billboard lions smiling from bloodflecked jaws. Their eyes flick over us like letters written too small to read, streets seen from seven miles up as they spread the peacock tail of executive jets across skies yellow with greed. Their ashes rain down on our scarred arms, the fall out from explosions they order by memo.

The design is at-once both abstract and figurative as the various shapes form overall a sailboat among waves, and with three seagulls aloft beside the yacht! So unique and no doubt a one of a kind and impressive artwork! The couple were more experimental in their early days, and that is seen clearly in this artwork. There are layers overlaid on layers of enamel, some with raised edges which you can clearly feel when running your fingers over the enamel, particularly with the black and red enamel sections. No doubt the enamel was painted on, and built up over successive layers very similar to the impasto technique in painting. De Passilé-Sylvestre started their business in 1960 by making one of a kind enamel artworks and jewelry in enamel on copper. (See my last photo for an image of the couple at one of their installation exhibitions in their early days.) A true collectors prize! Measures 9-3/4" diameter by 1-1/4" high at rim. Excellent vintage condition.
