Watching the Washington Post crumble bums me out. Back in 2000, my old dumb satire website got a mention in an article about Josie & the Pussycats creator, Dan DeCarlo. It was the first *real* publication I ever saw something I created mentioned in. That fact feels less prestigious as time ticks on.

Great stand alone. Nothing to do with series. The Pussycats were orphans together in 1910, became vampires in the 20s and reinvent their band every decade and get big again. Brilliant issue. Afterlife with Archie #10.

Kinda falls apart after #5. #10 is a great "how the "Pussycats Nevadans vampires in the 20s and reinvent themselves every decade" stand alone that only ties in because they're gonna land as the zombies break out on the last page.
