one of the reasons I think it's hard to believe Catherine O'Hara died is because she was this super rare combination of both poise and chaotic energy and so she didn't seem to have a physical age; she was just oscillating between 40 and 17 and 60 at all times.

Just hit the big twist in Hades 2, and realized something. The cast and overall story aren't quite as consistently endearing as the first game, but the swings are so much bigger that it not only balances out, but exceeds the first game by making the big moments so much more impactful. Beautiful game

Currently a little conflicted on my feelings about Hades 2 vs. Hades 1, in both gameplay and characters/story, but one thing that has unquestionably improved is the music. The first game had some decent tunes, but nowhere near the variety or mood of this one.

I was a weird, overly sheltered kid, and when games pivoted to CD-ROM, I saw some horny FMV games in a magazine and thought that's just what games are now. When my brother got a PlayStation, I assumed every game would have fully uncensored nudity and gore, and worried my parents would find out.
