It really snaps you out of the show to be reminded "Oh, those other characters make Netflix money, okay." I love those characters, but if you're going to make the show a gruesome horror thing, stop pulling punches. Otherwise, scale it way the fuck back and do your little ET/Goonies thing.

In general, I'm over the puritanical bullshit and wish people would quit being so bothered by sex. "But the children. . ." . . .are human beings who are going to go looking for the shit when you're not around.

I'm curious how thorough it is. There were so many shows that died instantly, does it count those, too? Something like this is potentially so much more valuable than internet resources because it was conducted by experts/insiders before there were triple the amount of series without time slots.

I hope we get a live-action adaptation starring Adam Driver, mostly because we haven't had a new Adam Driver meme in a while, and I think we all need to see him with the Dagwood hair.

I find it very interesting that this evokes the poster for Private Benjamin so well, because I immediately knew it was a TV show of Private Benjamin, even though I had no idea such a thing existed.

I enjoyed the show, but their insistence on introducing new characters and killing them as soon as you get to know them, all so they don't have to kill the popular characters, really irked me. Either stop killing new characters and let the cast grow or kill the favorites and new characters.

Hopper and Eleven were great in the first season, with diminishing returns for each season after. I generally loved all the characters, but whole seasons would go by where a significant character was just barely there, and it made it more evident that they had no idea where to go with them.

My favorite thing about Robin Williams is that he had this whole erratic, madcap schtick that a lot of people were sick of by the '90s, and then he just pivots to dramatic roles and knocks them out of the park. Every. Goddamn. Time. He was such a fascinating person.

My excitement for MCU died with Endgame. The last Spider-Man was fun, and I guess liking Deadpool 3 is a hot take? But everything else I've seen just hasn't hit for me. Even Guardians was disappointing, but I may need to rewatch that one. I do miss getting excited for Marvel movies, though.
