Republicans and Trump are the main culprits, and deserve all the blame and scorn, but that doesn’t absolve Democratic leaders of their failings either. All of those politicans you mentioned had the courage to stand up and put themselves on the line. Maybe you should trust their judgement

It should be a given (law) that if an elected politician defects to any other party, or leaves to stand as an independent, that a by-election MUST be held. The current situation continues to erode truct in politicians - especially career politicans

Stop It ! No reasonably minded person would expect 259 Democratic leaders to take on Trump, Republican politicans and their millions of followers. This task belongs to all those who believe in fighting for our democracy.

I usually end up blocking most politicans on Bluesky. Their conduct is so scripted, performative, duplicitous and void of humanity, there is no need to receive a word they say. If the reader can write the script, why bother reading it. Exploitative systems and those who serve them are owed nothing.

Show them that they have no viable path to win and he does and that Dem party will not support them. Throw in support if they want to run for lower office and unless you have really stubborn people (most politicans are stubborn granted) you can persuade
