Even with OW and ODSP you “pay first” get reimbursed later, which means if you have multiple appointments that need a taxi, you dont eat for that month.

I finally was approved for the CDB so I will get an extra 200$ more a month on top of 149$ I already get from ODSP, but I’ll still need support for months going forward (February, March, etc) but less than previous months (e.g. 250$ instead of 500$ than I usually ask for) 😊

The second attempt to get him ODSP took two years.

Now it's probably worse, especially with Covid straining the entire system.

And ODSP is still not enough money to live on.
