After a night of midnight plotting I found myself in a new house where whispers echo from beyond the walls—mothersong, glass knocks, flickering lights Do you think ghosts taste our fear or are we just paranoid?

Been a wee while since I enjoyed reading a @GuardianBooks poetry round-up quite as much as this one. Amy Acre's 'Mothersong' has got my attention – I'm a sucker for poems about motherhood.
