More times than not the islands will deliver some pretty epic sunsets. Just when I thought the distant cloud cover would block a photo opportunity, then This happens. Beams of warm light shoots out from the bottom and top of the cloud bank and suddenly life is good. A great ending to a long beach walk at the right place. Notice the kid jumping off the wall, it's a thing to do here along body boarding and body surfing with all the local kids, just make sure you don't hit any honu (sea turtles), dey hurt brah. 🤙

Rain water regulation can only be done properly by restoring/conserving upland peat & grassland & the restoration of native flood meadows. It’s also cheaper than massive engineering & drainage works. Whodathunkit?
