And then there's option C.

Zinnia knows magecraft. As designed, she can do magic. It's honestly her least favorite way to fight, but it's a necessity.

It's one of her few weak points, but that's less because she's not good at it, and more because she'd really rather not.

the mages association about to realize the concealment of magecraft is a bunch of horsecrap in my hc where magical girls popped up around the globe.
i mean at first they'll send enforcers but soon the public will love their heroes and they have to cease trying to erase them

my favorite part of flowers volume 3 is when yuzuriha yatsushiro uses her projection magecraft

In book 2, she still uses her degree and knowledge for friends but if she ever acted professionally as a doctor, Innani and Vola would kill her.

Vola secretly wants to work for Day Camps and kids Arcane Science centers or Volunteer at the Library, starting a Young Magecraft club

I assume I'm not the first person to interpret "Dragonsbane" by Barbara Hambly as being a story (at least in part) about the difficult choice a creative woman must make between improving her craft and dedicating herself to her family … I mean, swap out Jenny's magecraft for any art (writing […]

“I had managed to find a source of income. Learn a bit about what magecraft and servants were in passing. It's all so…strange yet it is exciting, I suppose.” Say the human(?) as they sat down in front of Fou.

“What about you? Still patrolling around the world?”

the only good version of this is the inversion with shirou's brain taking in the mechanics of the holy grail war as imparted to him by the grail's magecraft itself through the form of RPG status screens and only because it makes him look like a total fucking rube dork compared to the other masters

The importance of Prillya to the overall Fate universe is so funny. You can just be on the wiki page for Julian Ainsworth and be jumpscared with "[FGO Spoiler] used a version of Julian's magecraft to bleach the earth in the Lostbelt arc"

I know I said Teysa was transition goals earlier, and she is, but being real for a sec, I'd die ecstatic if I could be a fire elemental in the Ashling mold. Just want to roam the land, my body aflame and my heart free as a bird

|| hihiii does anyone want to do an SL where FGO Zander unlocks sealed memories and has a breakdown? I'm doing it on twitter too. Essentially I've made it so that Zander was always trained as a mage in the FGO timeline, he had any memories of his family's magecraft sealed when he went to Chaldea. 😌

I'm *sorry*, did I just hear you talking about Fate's magecraft system and call it "magic"???

Don't go anywhere, I'm pulling up the slideshow right now.

He mirrored her expression. A gleam of joy to match her excitement. “What a strange request, but a request as simple as mere magecraft. Anything else?”

Expression freezing with furrowed confusion —— before realizing its lack of seriousness .

‷ Hardly . If satisfying myself satisfies you , Merlin . . . I wish to find a retro ice cream parlor ‴ blank expression , eyes enlarging with excitement .
“You say such mean things,” he commented with a feigned expression, his brows furrowed in distress. “What would satisfy you, Master?”

Mhm they only managed to summon Nobu because they actually brought in a girl who’s specialty was actually being a mana battery while Mori they pretty much had to brute force summon him and control via a mixture of technology and magecraft
November 22, 2025 at 9:46 PM
Fun fact regarding the redline timeline: these guys actually were only capable of summoning two servants cause they poured a city’s worth of magical energy into both each time due to how little they knew about magecraft
