The #LincolnsSparrow has eluded my photographic capture for too long! I got my chance when they landed in my backyard during migration, no doubt for a brief stop. The fine streaking is really something to observe!

Lincoln's Sparrows are secretive birds not usually seen thanks to dense cover habitats. (Not that one would know this thanks to all of the photos of them out there. Me thinks the sparrow doth protest too much.)
